Farmers Forum, Benefiting the Camas Farmer’s Market

On Saturday, April 20th at 1:30pm, the Market is hosting a Farmers Forum panelist-style Q&A event will feature local farmers John Spencer from Get-to-Gather Farm in Washougal, Steve and Lindsay Inzalaco  from Shady Grove Farm in Camas, and Zorah Oppenheimer, Executive Director of the Clark County Conservation District. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the successes and challenges faced by small farms in 2024, as well as what sustainability practices that are currently being implemented on farms in Clark County. This intimate Q & A will offer the community a chance to learn more about how to best support local farmers. Tickets for the Farmers Forum are $10 and proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the Camas Farmer’s Market. The full Lane Cellars menu, featuring artisan wines crafted from Eastern Washington growers, will be available for purchase. Tickets are available on Eventbrite

The community is also invited to the a special screening of Common Ground on Saturday, April 20th, at 11:30am. This star studded documentary highlights the importance of regenerative agricultural practices for a sustainable future. Tickets are $10, and part of the proceeds will benefit the Camas Farmer’s Market. Join us at the The Liberty Theatre on Wednesday, April 24th, at 7:00pm. Tickets also available for  Common Ground on Wednesday, April 24th at 7pm.
